With Salon Smart Dublin just around the corner, our host of expert speakers are preparing for what is guaranteed to be an exciting and informative networking event. Through sharing personal stories and offering key advice, our panel of respected industry innovators will cover a variety of topics that impact salon owners and managers across the country.

First to take to the stage is Sabrina Hill, owner of Kopper Hair Salon in Glanmire. With over 17 years of industry experience, Sabrina has rocketed to success building a growing social media presence. She has also recently expanded her luxury hair salon brand through the opening of a new salon in Cork City plus launched campaign New Hair Revolution. This has ensured the development of both her physical and digital footprint. Sabrina will be focusing on the importance of online content for the growth of business and will draw on her own experience to offer invaluable advice.

Up next is James O’Dwyer, an award-winning colourist and professional educator for the Hugh Campbell Hair Group, who will be talking all things colour in the commercial sphere. His tenacity and drive has gained James the reputation as one of Ireland’s most prolific expert colourists. When he isn’t taking care of clients at Marbles Salon in Limerick, he can be found leading colour workshops or launching high-end products for international brands. Whether he’s based in the salon or classroom, it is clear that James’ passion for colour constantly drives his career and the salon business forward.

After our Great Debate seeing our expert panel deliberate topics surrounding time, Siobhan Jones will be exchanging her top tips on how to nurture your business and establish your own unique stamp on branding and salon experience. As a passionate educator and owner of new boutique set up Rose & Wild in Fulham, London, Siobhan took the bold decision to leave her position as Creative Director at the Headmasters salon group and launch her own Instagram-worthy creative space! She’ll discuss how she fully embraced the opportunity to mark her own territory and the challenges facing new salon owners establishing their place in the market.

Danielle Kennedy and Tony Heffernan, who are the proud owners of Lloyds Hair, will then be sharing their secrets in sustaining and growing a salon business. Starting with a team of seven in their first salon in Waterford, they have continued to grow at an unstoppable rate since 2012. The Lloyds Hair Group now compromises of three salons with over sixty members of staff. Danielle and Tony will be joined by two members of their team – in-house trainer Anna Ford and customer relations manager Vicky Burke, to discuss the importance of teamwork in order to lead and succeed in the hairdressing industry.

The Dromgoole family are up next on the programme and will be evaluating the evolution of their business across the decades and sharing how they have ensured the longevity of their enterprise. Over the last 25 years, Zeba Hairdressing has gone from strength to strength and now boasts four successful salons in Dublin – including one inside the city’s iconic department store, Arnotts. Paul, Angie and Richard’s rock-solid salon group is a testament to the trio’s exceptional business acumen and they’ll be imparting their invaluable expertise at Salon Smart.

For the big finale we have invited dynamic duo – Paul Percival and Adam Reed – to delve into the incredible Percy & Reed story. After meeting for the first time in 2003, they joined forces in 2007 to create the renowned Percy & Reed brand. Together they have established two salons, a global product line, an A-list clientele and outstanding team. Now, after 12 years of success, it’s all about to change as they prepare to embark on separate journeys. We will hear about the fascinating path to forging their super-brand, talk team and nurturing young talent through education. Plus get an insight from the pair as to why now was the right time for the next chapter…
