As artistic director for the Trevor Sorbie Salon Group, Tom is responsible not only for heading up the company’s world-famous Artistic Team, he was also the brainchild of AT2 – a subsidiary art team, designed specifically to help develop young talent within the company, and he manages the education team at the recently launched Trevor Sorbie China Academy.
A big job – but Tom’s the man for it; he’s a consummate professional with a hunger for creativity and a genuine passion for supporting and nurturing generation next – no surprise then that he’s the hot ticket at shows and seminars all over the world.
How he juggles all the above with a busy salon clientele is testament to Tom’s aptitude for hard work and appetite for pushing his own boundaries. “In the last nine years my work has changed dynamically,” says Tom. “Trevor [Sorbie] has helped me develop my taste and confidence to the point where I don’t mind making mistakes in the search for new ideas.”
