“Loyal subjects, fellow queens…”

There was a reason why Creative HEAD Editor Amanda Nottage welcomed guests to The It List 2018 wearing a crown and accompanied by four (“very tall, very skinny, very glamorous”) ladies-in-waiting. She was paying tribute to the new “Long Live The Queens” campaign, launched by our It List partner, ghd.

The hilarious send-up saw the world exclusive airing of the Long Live The Queens video (showing how ghd create extra-special hair in everyday situations) followed by a specially shot cameo of ghd ambassador Luke Benson prepping Amanda’s hair for the Grand Final – complete with face masks, champagne buckets and copious amounts of diva-like behaviour, and culminating in Luke labelling Amanda a “drama queen”.

As Amanda continued, the four ladies-in-waiting – with hair dramatically styled by Luke – posed up a storm on the Natural History Museum staircase, before disappearing for a photo-shoot with It List veteran Jon Baker. See the results in the October issue of Creative HEAD.
