We interrupted your Most Wanted broadcast to share a jaw-dropping spectacle from the outgoing Most Wanted Session Stylist champ, Anthony Turner, and as it turned out, he scooped up the title for 2020 too!
Stomping down that Printworks catwalk was a mesmerising collection of Monster Queens, named after a club night Anthony and his friends enjoy (remember club nights?!). There was a real-life lion tamer among the crew, all friends of Anthony’s and close collaborators on a show that shared a dark fantasy world with humour and fun.
“I’ve spent the last year being so serious, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to do something a bit camp, and a bit silly and a bit out there, spooky – a bit of everything I love,” said Anthony to Creative HEAD editor Amanda Nottage after the show.
“It’s taken a few months actually, but I pulled a few favours. All of these guys on stage are my friends and I love every single one of them dearly. Monster Queen is a night I used to go to quite regularly, and I just wanted to show my friends off to you all!”
