Seven more finalists are crowned at the North Eastern heat of L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2017

The L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2017 Backstage Live events made their way across the Pennines for the North Eastern regional heat last night (April 11).

Teams of talented hairdressers descended on The Royal Amouries in Leeds to demonstrate their styling skills in an effort to win a place at the LCT17 Grand Final in June.

The judging panel, including Sophia Hilton from Not Another Salon and Siobhan Jones of Headmasters, carefully assessed the entries and selected the following salons to progress to the next stage:

L’Oréal Colour Trophy – Women’s Image Award
Contemporary Hair Academy, Middlesborough
Bang Bishy Road, York
Hays Sisters, Hull
At Sisters, Newcastle

L’Oréal Colour Trophy Men’s Image Award
Cutting Room Creative, Leeds
Westrow, Leeds

L’Oréal Colour Trophy STAR Award
(for an individual colourist aged between 18 – 24)

Georgia Kirven, Frances Marshall, Sunderland

Tonight (April 12), the action moves south to Aston Villa FC’s stadium in Birmingham, where hopefuls will compete to be named Midlands grand finalists. Good luck to all those taking part, and we’ll bring you news of the next batch of salons who’ll be joining us in London first thing tomorrow!
