Ken entered hairdressing immediately after leaving school, training and working as a stylist in a large salon in South London. After a brief period working outside of the industry, in sales and business management, he opened his first salon over 25 years ago with great success. He joined 3·6·5 looking for new ideas to thrive in today’s high street and was soon invited to become part of the coaching team, where his knowledge of all aspects of business proved invaluable.
Director of 3·6·5 Education since 2008, today Ken enjoys developing the ever-evolving education programme, as well as helping members with their day-to-day challenges. Ken is a respected industry figure, with a monthly column in Creative HEAD, and presenting regularly at Salon Smart. This year you’ll find him onstage with salon owner Carolyn Sweeney, showing how he helped shake up her business to create a better, stronger team.
