The brightest colourists of Ireland went head to head to show off their talents at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2017 Semi Final at the O’Reilly Hall in Dublin. With three categories to compete in – L’Oréal Men’s Image Award, the Star Award and the prestigious L’Oréal Colour Trophy – hairdressers battled it out to win a place in the Irish Grand Final.
Each category requires the salon teams to conjure up an incredible colour look that is styled to perfection and takes inspiration from current trends. At the Semi Final, looks were presented to a judging panel made up of high profile industry experts – Siobhan Jones of Headmasters, Nathan Walker of Trevor Sorbie, Mark Woolley of Electric Hairdressing, Chris Williams of Rush and Alan Edwards of Alan Edwards cast their eyes over the creations before picking the finalists.
The Irish L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final 2017 takes place at the O’Reilly Hall in July. The winner will go on to show their winning look at the International L’Oréal Professionnel Business Forum in Seville this October in front of an audience from around the world.
