1) Use your point of sale system for its most valuable purpose – analysis!
2) Analyse your salon sales by category; styling services, chemical services, retail sales, and any other key areas or income generation
3) Analyse the costs of delivering each of the above
4) Do the same analysis of each of your team members
5) Set minimum performance standards for the team and for each individual
6) Set promotion criteria for each individual
7) Monitor regularly, at least every 28 days
8) Establish areas of focus needing coaching
9) Coach all team regularly
10) Establish consequences!
